Admission

  1. Students are usually admitted only in the beginning of the 1st term of the year to the degree and post graduate courses.
  • Application for admission must be made in the prescribed form which can be had from the college on payment of a registration fee of Rs. 30/-
  • Applicant for admission to the 1st year degree class must have passed the +2 of Govt. of Kerala or 12th class of CBSE or an examination recognized equivalent there to.Those for admission to Post Graduate course must have passed degree examinations in the concerned subject with the required minimum percentage of marks.
  • Candidates seeking admission must produce transfer and conduct certificates from the school or college they last attended and qualifying certificates and mark list in original at the time of admission.
  • Candidates seeking admission to the college from other universities should apply for recognition from the University of Calicut.
  • Candidates considered for admission will be required to appear for an interview before the principal after receiving the intimation card. The selection is provisional and is subject to confirmation after the interview and scrutiny of the certificates
  • Candidates selected for admission will have to pay the required tuition fees due at the time of admission, caution deposit and all other fees prescribed by the college. Fees once paid will not be returned.
  • Any candidate found to have obtained admission by false representation shall be summarily dismissed and shall forfeit whatever fees he/she may have paid.
  • Students belonging to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe and converts from these castes and tribes as evidenced by their S.S.L.C. Certificate need not pay any tuition fees. Students belonging to other backward classes and converts from other region should produce the community and income certificate from the regional Thahsildar at the time of admission, failing which they will not be exempted from the payment of fees.
  • A student applying for Transfer Certificate will not be given the certificate unless he/ she pays all fees and other dues as the principal may deem fit.Usually transfer certificates are not issued to the students before the completion of their courses of study.
  • A late fee of Rs. 25 will be charged if a student applies for T.C one year after the beginning of the academic year immediately following that during which he/she has been last enrolled. A fee of Rs 50/- will be charged for the issue of a duplicate transfer certificate.
  • Students who have left the college with T.C are not eligible to get a new one for a second time. However duplicate certificate will be issued on production of an affidavit signed by a Judicial First Class Magistrate.
  • A student applying for the release of any document from the college must have cleared all dues to the college.
  • A fees of Rs.100/- will be charged for a document that needs reference to the record older than five years
